The Rail District (Old Downtown Frisco)
Frisco, TX is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States with 163,656 residents. Located in Dallas, TX, Uptown is at the epicenter of North Texas’ urban boom, ranking 5th in the United States for new apartment construction in 2016. Despite rapid growth and development, many of the stately Victorians from the 20th century still stand. The designation of the State Thomas Historic District helped save some of the area’s finest historic homes amid urbanization and commercial development.
By day, Uptown/State Thomas is a quiet, wholesome, and desirable residential area. By night, its bars and clubs come to life, offering rowdy entertainment and fantastic drinks. McKinney Avenue and its famed nightlife offer much excitement for residents who want to blow off some steam.
